About Me
Welcome to my official website! My name is Nikita Burshteyn and this site will give you a glimpse into my theater career. I am currently playing Romeo in the Off-Broadway show Romeo and Bernadette: A Musical Tale of Verona and Brooklyn at Amas Theatre.
I have been a part of numerous Bay Area Theater Companies and have performed in various cabaret shows. Recent credits include: Jack Kelly in Newsies (Woodminster Summer Musicals), Curly in Oklahoma (Woodminster Summer Musicals), Billy in 42nd Street (BAM), Jean Michel in La Cage aux Folles (San Francisco Playhouse), Bobby Strong in Urinetown (Berkeley Playhouse, TBA Award Finalist), Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar (Tri-Valley Repertory Theatre), Drew Boley in the Regional Premiere of Rock of Ages (Center REPertory Company), Tony in West Side Story (Broadway By The Bay, TBA Award Finalist and San Francisco Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle nominee), Frank Abagnale Jr. in Catch Me if You Can (Woodminster Summer Musicals).
Outside of my passion for performing, I graduated from UC Berkeley with a Bachelor's in Legal Studies.
